• Fast acting blood schizonticidal agent for P. falciparum malaria at the erythrocytic stage.
• α-β arteether gets concentrated in parasitized erythrocytes and causes lysis of the parasitic cell.

Indications:

• Falciparum Malaria
• Multiple Drug Resistant Malaria
• Cerebral Malaria

Dose:

Adult: 150 mg OD for 3 consecutive days IM or as directed by physician.
Child: 3 mg/kg/day for 3 consecutive days IM or as directed by physician.
